This project, entitled “New technologies for delivering sustainable free-form architecture”, will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team and develop collaborations with national and international researchers, particularly focusing on linkages between Engineering and Architecture. It is encouraged that you work with a growing degree of autonomy as your skills and experience develop.

About you

You have an outstanding track record and high quality research outputs in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Robotic fabrication and advanced manufacturing technologies;
  2. Digital design for free-form architecture;
  3. Structural form-finding and topological optimisation;
  4. High-performance computation, cloud computing, computer programming and graphic user interface.

You also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with research students, staff and external stakeholders, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as architecture and structural engineering

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.

Bring your whole self to work
