Digital and Campus Services provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that brings together the digital and physical environments for students and staff, supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. The IT Business Engagement team is responsible for engaging with the University to understand present and future demands for IT that support the University’s teaching, learning, research and professional outcomes. As an advocate, advisor and escalation point the IT Business Engagement team maintains relationships across the University to identify common needs and opportunities and incorporate these into operational or project pipelines in line with strategic business objectives.
You will play a key role in partnering with business areas and stakeholders across the University to identify and refine business requirements in relation to a business problem or opportunity. You will also collaborate with System Analysts and Solution Architects to develop a high-level understanding of the scope and feasibility of solutions. This is an interesting role with the potential to work on a wide variety of initiatives.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years’ continuous experience in business analysis
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following methodologies; Agile, Prince2
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Experience working with technical resources to document and clarify scope and requirements using appropriate methods
- Proven experience with one or more business process modelling techniques
- Exposure to an organisational change management methodology in relation to technology implementations, such as Prosci ADKAR

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $100,036 to $112,874 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
