PROJECT MANAGER, EXHIBITIONS, MIT Museum, to work closely with a diverse group of teams including scientists, technologists, curators, and practitioners on cross-disciplinary presentations. The MIT Museum is building a team to begin the formative phases of exciting work to determine its future in a new location at Kendall Square. The museum looks to convey and contribute to the unique problem-solving ethos of MIT with exhibitions and programs that exemplify the leading edge of knowledge both past and present. Will be responsible for the initial project scoping, the management of process and workflow across multiple projects, and the management of team communications and project logistics with consultants and vendors; contribute to the development of exhibition experiences, managing the content development process, supporting evaluation, and managing text writing and editing workflows; perform some research, coordination with Collections and manage experiences that may include media development and production; and conceptualize the project process and maintain the big picture view through the concept development, design, production, launch, and installation phases. Will report to the director of galleries and exhibitions and work collaboratively with the manager of exhibitions and various teams.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a B.A./B.S. (M.A./M.S. preferred) degree in science, math, engineering, science education, social sciences, or a field related to informal teaching and learning; and at least two years of experience project managing museum exhibitions, preferably in interactive science or art environments.
