The Faculty comprises five academic departments including Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. We advocate cross-disciplinary approaches, with research activities focusing on the Faculty Niche Research Area of “Environmental and Health”, and the University Research Clusters in “Health and Drug Discovery” (http://health-dd.hkbu.edu.hk/) and “Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in X” (http://hkbu.ai/). Exceptional opportunities for interdisciplinary ventures and collaboration will be offered. Our central facilities constitute the latest technologies to bring effective solutions to advance research and innovation.
Research Assistant Professors (Several Posts) (PR0168/19-20)
The Faculty now invites applications for the posts of Research Assistant Professors for Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant PhD degree; (ii) strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching; and (iii) outstanding accomplishments and research potential.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
