ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ADMISSIONS AND MARKETINGLeaders for Global Operations (LGO) Program, to manage all aspects of recruitment, evaluations, marketing, and operations for MIT’s dual-degree MBA and engineering master’s program. Will develop and oversee a collaborative admissions effort of LGO staff, students, alumni, and diverse stakeholders across MIT, MIT Sloan, and the LGO industry partner companies; develop and execute an admissions strategy aimed at increasing the pool of qualified MIT LGO applicants; be responsible for recruiting and evaluations; and oversee the marketing, operations and the overall MIT LGO admissions processes.  

MIT LGO is the premier program for developing leaders of operations- and manufacturing-oriented companies who bring both management know-how and deep technical understanding. Its dual-degree graduate program awards an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a master of science from its School of Engineering.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred, e.g., MBA) in a relevant discipline; at least three years’ admissions experience in a university setting; supervisory experience; ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders; demonstrated success articulating and executing admissions strategy; experience working with corporate partners in a university/nonprofit setting; flexibility; ability to work effectively with staff, students, faculty and a range of stakeholders across MIT and elsewhere; experience handling sensitive materials and maintaining confidentiality; excellent project management and written and verbal communications skills; experience planning recruiting visits and presenting to prospective candidate audiences in a public setting; proficiency with MS Office, using database reports, managing admissions software/CRM/databases; and website management; and ability to manage projects with multiple, disjointed stakeholders.  Knowledge of Slate Technolutions and query generation preferred. Job #18045-8
