SUPERVISOR, ELECTRICAL-LIGHTINGFacilities-Repair and Maintenance (R&M), to manage assigned team(s) in providing superior customer service and maintain all assigned buildings and systems to the best possible condition. Will provide leadership and direction to assigned team members and standby supervisory coverage on a rotating basis on weekends and holidays.  Will work under the direction of the manager and/or the assistant manager of R&M and/or the electrical systems senior supervisor.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least five years’ experience in building operations; strong knowledge of building electrical and control systems; experience working with underground electrical utilities systems such as high voltage and secondary distribution; experience working with emergency and standby generators and automatic transfer switches; a Massachusetts’ master and/or journeyman electrician’s license; excellent customer service, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills; ability to manage work order backlogs and make good sound judgments when prioritizing daily work; experience with computer systems, e-mail, and the internet; experience working on teams and demonstrated proficiency with job planning and execution. May be required to move objects weighing 10-20 pounds and traverse long distances or move from site to site. PREFERRED: supervisory experience in a repair and maintenance setting with oversight of electrical-lighting controls/high voltage fields; a bachelor’s degree and/or engineering background; and familiarity with SAP work order and planning modules.  Job #18408-9
