The Department of Political Economy invites applications for a lectureship in Public Policy. We are developing new programmes in this area, including possible online delivery.  We encourage applicants with an interest in any branch of public policy including policy analysis and evaluation, and theoretical and/or empirical work drawing on qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies. We have a preference for applicants that exhibit an interest in the relationship between public policy and political economy. The successful applicant will be able to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

The Department of Political Economy (DPE) offers a broad-based interdisciplinary research and teaching space which brings the study of economics and politics closer together. The department is committed to theoretical and methodological pluralism and is based on an inclusive interdisciplinary vision. We welcome applicants for these posts from all candidates who share that vision and who will contribute to its broader diversity.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post

The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation to DPE department staff and research students.
