The role

 We have an exciting new role in the Faculty of Education, Health & Human Sciences’ Marketing, Events and Communications Team. The Communications, Events and Engagement Officer will undertake a wide range of communication and engagement activities, and events to support the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences and the Institute for Life course Development. You will help to build an integrated brand identity for the Faculty and Institute as well as supporting the development and delivery of an internal communications strategy to promote and enhance staff experience, staff engagement and well being. 

Your profile  

 We are looking for someone with an understanding of internal and external communications, CRM databases and project management. You will need to have experience of digital and social media, producing publications, and organizing and promoting events.

You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in writing, over the telephone and in person) and have the ability to build strong and positive working relationships with key stakeholders. 

You will have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to plan and prioritize a busy schedule of work. You will have strong IT skills and enjoy multitasking. 

Comfortable with rapid change, you will be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.
