The University of Greenwich requires a PR & Internal Communications Officer to support the PR & Internal Communications team. Reporting into the PR & Communications Manager, you will support the team in the day-to-day delivery of the internal and external communications strategy, working on a variety of proactive and reactive work streams. You’ll deliver, monitor success of and collate reports on PR & internal communications activity (integrating seamlessly with other disciplines), in order to reach, inspire, entertain, inform and convert our prospective audiences. You will work closely with the content team and social media officer produce video content

You’re a results oriented, passionate aspiring communications professional with some experience in a PR and / or internal communications role. You’re confident writing for a variety of audiences with excellent proofing skills, a confident presenter, have English language fluency and are eager to expand your skill set in a busy press and internal communications office. 

It’s an exciting time for the Marketing Communications team. This is a busy time for the team and this role is an opportunity to make a real difference to how the university communicates changes in the sector, increased competition and a desire to raise the bar, we are looking for outstanding person with a confident manner, eye for design, flexible with the ability to switch between difference styles and writing for different audiences in order to inform, engage and inspire our audiences, demonstrate our values, journalism skills who can help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research, through our embodying our values and delivering ‘work that works’.
