Overview

The University Governance team quietly and efficiently manages the business of the ECU Council and its committees to ensure that meetings are scheduled properly, have the right items on the agenda, and that actions agreed in meetings are followed up and completed. The team is also involved in a range of other governance-related activities. We are looking for someone to join ECU’s University Governance team for around twelve months as cover for parental leave. We are looking for someone who can confidently provide, across various digital and traditional communication media, support to some of Council’s key committees. You will be organised, confident in your demeanour, able to quickly become conversant in the business of ECU and you will be a true believer in the value of good governance and proper process.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $88,800 to $99,498 pa plus 9.5% University superannuation contribution.
