Job description

The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit a IT Developer to play a role in the development and delivery of key corporate IT projects. The successful candidate will develop, implement, support a number of corporate IT systems and services. The post is initially a 6 months fixed term contract.

Skills will include

• Experience of system development using SQL databases
• Experience of developing applications using either Microsoft .NET C# or PL/SQL
• Excellent problem solving skills

To support the university, you will need a good knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Experience in SaaS/PaaS environments and on modern ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365/Salesforce/SAP/Oracle. You must demonstrate a customer focused approach to all your work with the ability to communicate effectively at both a technical and non-technical level.
