MEDIA RELATIONS DATA ASSISTANT, Sloan School of Management-Office of Communications (part-time, 30 hrs/wk.), to track and curate all media coverage for Sloan. Will track, compile, and curate weekly news clips featuring Sloan and its faculty, initiatives, research, students, and alumni; track daily news mentions through Cision software platform and Google News searches, among others; selecting and curating the best Sloan news mentions (approximately 25-30 news clips) for compilation in a weekly newsletter that is sent to all of Sloan, using judgment to choose from a large selection of news coverage that demonstrates the prominence of the work of Sloan’s faculty and academic community; oversee media coverage analytics and create analytics reports to monitor peer schools for news coverage; conduct side-by-side comparison analyses to produce annual analytics reports in addition to analyzing media coverage on an ongoing basis; and update and maintain specific pages on the Sloan website and Sloan experts blog. Will work in conjunction with the assistant director of media relations under the supervision of the associate director and director of the media relations team.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: at least three years of related experience; experience and interest in electronic record keeping and digital file organization; solid writing and editing skills; a keen eye for detail; strong knowledge of grammar; fluency with a wide variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CMS (Drupal, Ektron, etc.); basic knowledge of HTML coding; and proficiency with Photoshop/image editing software.
