Job Description Summary
This Research Specialist D will work in the Genetic Diagnostic laboratory of Dr. Arupa Ganguly.
Job Description
Provide and develop novel bioinformatic tools and perform complex analysis of next generation sequencing and custom array platform based comparative genomic hybridization experiments. The employee will perform all aspects of molecular techniques associated with human disease associated genes, real-time digital PCR analysis for gene dosage and ultra low – level mosaicism analysis and other relevant functions of the laboratory. In addition develop/curate/maintain databases of disease associated variations for internal reference.
This position is contingent on funding.
Qualifications
Master's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience in research, clinical study, project and people management or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Working Conditions
Office, Library, Computer Room; Requires extensive safety

Typically sitting at a desk or table; Occasional lifting 25 lb. or less
