As part of the re-launch of the Department of Engineering at King’s College London, we are seeking applications for multiple academic posts.  At this stage, we are planning to appoint a Lecturer in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on digital communications, terahertz communications and wireless communications and emerging technologies in communications.

We are creating a vibrant Department that looks to lead innovation in education and research at one of the world’s leading universities. To support our ambition, King’s is investing in new multi-million pound teaching and research laboratories at heart of its Strand campus to provide our Engineering students and staff with facilities fit for a world-leading university.

In moving our ambition forward, we are seeking to appoint academics to join us in shaping the future of education and research for King’s Engineering. We are looking for people who have the desire to undertake innovative, inspiring teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and who demonstrate potential as future leaders in their research field.

Candidates must have a PhD in Engineering or related field and show a commitment to helping shape the future of the Department of Engineering at King’s.

The selection process will include a panel interview, a presentation.

Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 23 March 2020.

To apply, please register with the King’s College London application portal and complete your application online.

Our staff and students come from all over the world and the Department is proud of its friendly and inclusive culture. Diversity is positively encouraged with a number of family-friendly policies, including the operation of a core hours policy, the right to apply for flexible working and support for staff returning from periods of extended absence, for example maternity leave. The Department of Engineering is committed to ensuring an inclusive interview process and will reimburse up to £250 towards any additional care costs (for a dependent child or adult) incurred as a result of attending an interview for this position.
