Southampton Business School has an ambitious quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class Business School in research, education and enterprise. As an AMBA and AACSB accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding individuals for key research and teaching positions in a number of disciplines as outlined below to play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision which includes securing EQUIS accreditation within the next 12 months. Applications will be considered from candidates interested in part time hours of 0.6FTE and above.

The Department of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DSIE) comprises 15 academics with research and teaching interests in the subject areas of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. The Department offers an inclusive platform for interdisciplinary and impactful research and teaching in the following subject areas: social and sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, corporate social responsibility, family business, SMEs growth and international entrepreneurship, academic entrepreneurship, digital ecosystems, innovation management, and strategy process. The DSIE has a vibrant community of doctoral researchers and a thriving undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) educational portfolio (i.e. MSc Entrepreneurship and Management, MSc Business Strategy and Innovation Management, MSc Digital Business, MBA/Entrepreneurship pathway, UG Business Management/Entrepreneurship pathway), which is built on the research strengths and focus of its staff. 

You will have a PhD (or equivalent degree/professional qualification and experience) in Strategy or Entrepreneurship with an established track record of research publications at a minimum ABS 3* level, coupled with research grant activity. You will also demonstrate a strong interest in innovative teaching approaches to support the DSIE’s highly reputable UG and PG programmes and be expected to provide research support (as appropriate) and collaborate with others in the group.
