About the opportunity
You will have a direct leadership and management role in the operations of a team responsible for student recruitment, enquiry management, implementing outbound conversion operations and ensuring on-going training / coaching. The team provides course advice and frontline service to prospective domestic students with the aim of increasing student recruitment and enrolment. You will also oversee industry engagement activities that promote UWA's courses to external organisations including businesses, professional associations and education pathway providers.
About you
To succeed in this role, it is critical that you possess:
- Demonstrated leadership dispositions and ability to manage a large team
- Sound knowledge of student recruitment in higher education
- A track record of excellence in customer service, preferably in a contact centre environment
- Industry engagement experience or business development experience
About the team
The Future Students team within BMR Division provides strategic student recruitment direction and management for the university. The Future Students unit includes a consolidated student contact centre that brings together the recruitment operations for international and domestic markets to achieve greater capability and focus on student recruitment. Our future student needs across all markets will be catered for by providing professional consulting advice for domestic and international undergraduate, domestic and international postgraduate enquiries.
