Under new leadership, Brac University is seeking to move well beyond being one of the leading universities in Bangladesh and position itself as one of Asia’s leading international universities. To support this aim, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with the ability to secure funds from high net worth Individuals (HNWI’s) and charitable funders (charities, trusts and foundations) for Brac University. If you relish the challenge of building effective partnerships with domestic and international stakeholders and would be able to manage fundraising campaigns and oversee gift administration, and prospect research we would like to hear from you.

You will lead BracU’s fundraising and volunteering campaigns and take responsibility for growing its annual philanthropic income (cash and pledges). These important financial contributions will support the delivery of key University’s objectives as well as development of society.

You will ideally have a well-developed understanding of the key drivers of a modern university and be able to articulate how advancement can best support key areas of institutional strategy. This should be supported by demonstrated experience of successfully working with a broad network of colleagues and tangible evidence of putting in place fundraising agreements.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and external stakeholders is essential. Experience of undertaking similar previous assignments would be beneficial.
