We are looking to appoint an experienced administrator to join our team in Population Health Sciences and the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit and provide high-level administrative support to a group of researchers, academic staff and PhD students. This is a varied role and you will have responsibility across a range of activities including arranging meetings, workshops and conferences; making national and international travel arrangements; collating information for reports and briefing documents and leading on communications (greeting visitors, e-mail, newsletter and website). You will use a range of University systems in this role, including My ERP (purchasing, expenses, travel and HR functions), T4 (content management system) and Microsoft Office 365 (collaboration tools).

You will join an established administrative team, and will work closely with other local administrative staff, professional services colleagues and academic staff.

Ideally you will have relevant administrative experience, strong organisational, numerical and communication skills, with an ability to work in a busy office environment. You will have experience of working with a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages.  Ideally working on a Thursday and a Friday.
