About the Job

The Lecturer in Aboriginal Health will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, research and professional activities of the School. You will be primarily focused on Aboriginal curriculum development and pedagogies, as well as provide advice on these areas in relation to the School’s undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will identify as an Australian Aboriginal person, have a demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting on the learning of Aboriginal tertiary students and knowledge of and familiarity with Aboriginal communities. With the ability to undertake a range of teaching duties such as preparing teaching materials and resources, you will be an excellent communicator as well as a passionate teacher who actively engages and educates a student group. A bachelor degree in a Health related field and relevant industry/discipline experience in Aboriginal culture/health/research will be essential.
