About the opportunity 

We are seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer (Level A) in a specialised category of academic engagement reserved for talented educators with a passion for, and demonstrated excellence in, pedagogical practice and design. An Associate Lecturer (Education-focused) contributes to the teaching and learning efforts within a School/ Faculty while working with the support and guidance of more senior academic staff to develop their education proficiency. An Associate Lecturer (Education-focused) is expected to dedicate the majority of their contribution to teaching (up to 70% - or 80% by mutual agreement - of their academic workload allocation).

• has a relevant higher degree (or four years of tertiary study or equivalent qualifications and experience)

• has a demonstrated understanding of biomedical engineering
• has a developing knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practice and design
