Applications are invited for the post of Technician – Central Services supervisor in the Department of Biological Sciences.
This role is based within the technical team of the department. On a day-to day basis this entails the physical collection and/or delivery of waste and equipment across the school’s suites of laboratories.
You will use glass washers, autoclave equipment and trolleys, working to support the day-to-day running and upkeep of the central services facility as well as ensuring compliance of waste treatment and disposal activities with safety legislation and procedures.
You will be self-motivated, have excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the school as well as immediate colleagues and other technicians within the team.
You will ideally have some experience in a laboratory environment or similar work.If unsure whether experience is appropriate or relevant please contact to discuss.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
This is a full time and permanent post, available from 31 January 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.
