The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Liverpool John Moores University is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in Applied Microbiology to contribute specialist expertise and experience to a research and engineering development project to examine the breakdown of unique recalcitrant compounds in an industrial context.
You will act as the lead lab researcher generating data and interpreting the results for dissemination to the research team. You will be assisted by the principal investigator who will act as the overall supervisor; dedicated finance and research support from LJMU Professional Services, and a team of Faculty-based co-investigators who will provide complementary expertise in engineering and microbiology.
