Working in the School of Law you will support the expansion of the pro bono Legal Advice Centre and its integration into the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum from September 2020.

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate and recent practice experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual with the capability to teach subjects related to their professional expertise at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and who will supervise students engaging in casework in the Legal Advice Centre. The successful candidate will also liaise with internal Employability colleagues, external agencies, the local legal profession and other stakeholders as necessary, to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships in the School’s local community and build collaborations.

You will have expertise in Family Law. Capability to teach other areas of law would be desirable.
