Job Description

The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a candidate for the Penn Medicine Clinician position to serve as an outpatient physician. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board Certified/Eligible in General Internal Medicine is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include precepting residents and interns throughout their General Medicine rotations. Candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in UME or GME educational programs.

Clinical responsibilities will include sessions providing direct patient care at Penn Medicine at Radnor or one of DGIM’s other practices. Providing after hours phone coverage may also be included. Candidates are not required to participate in research or scholarship, however are welcome to collaborate with faculty within the university.

Qualifications

M.D.; License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania; DEA Licensure. 0-1 year of work experience of related experience in a specified medical field.
Background check is required by Federal, State or local regulations or external regulatory agency.
