The Facilities Support Services team is responsible for ensuring that all students, staff and visitors using University Central Teaching Spaces are provided with the very best technical support and guidance. You will support the Technical Team Leader in managing a small technical team who deliver second line technical support to users of Central Teaching Spaces as well as video conferencing and equipment hire and dedicated support to high profile events on campus.
With experience of working in a technical support role, within a busy customer service environment, you will have experience of supporting audio visual (AV) equipment and systems as well as an understanding of AV control systems, remote management and lecture capture equipment. You will also have excellent IT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office and AV specfic software such as SMART Technologies.
