Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 499500), to commence in May 2020 for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences, medical sciences, virology or a related discipline.  Outstanding and self-motivated candidates with a proven research track record are encouraged to apply.  Experience in immunology, molecular biology, physiology, animal handling and bioinformatics would be an advantage.  A strong publication record is expected.  The appointee will conduct independent and collaborative research investigating the boundaries of functional immune responses to infectious agents and/or their components in a healthy Asian population.  Opportunity for overseas laboratory attachment is available.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
