St Mary’s University is a modern, friendly and welcoming university situated in the leafy borough of Richmond upon Thames and just a short train journey away from the hustle and bustle of central London. As the University builds on its proud heritage, it is looking for exceptional people to help shape its progressive future.

At St Mary’s University, we are on an exciting journey of transformation, to benefit our diverse student and staff community. To support this journey, we are seeking to implement a new Student Records system, Tribal SITS, over the next year.

We are looking for a SITS Developer with strong hands on technical experience of working with SITS. The ideal candidate will develop and support the new Student service as well as setting standards for new ways of working and technical documentation. Reporting to the SITS Technical Lead and the project manager(s) for the SRS project, the role will also liaise closely with the Director of Applications and their existing teams. The role will undertake the software development tasks within the SRS implementation project and all other SRS-related projects. Thereafter, the role will develop and improve the student records system (SRS) through complex system configuration and programming using SQL and application development frameworks.

In addition to the relevant technical skills and experience, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and people skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.

This role is at the forefront of delivering transformational change for both the staff and student experience at St Mary’s.
