We are seeking to appoint a researcher with excellent data management skills to join a team of data managers and researchers working at Bristol Medical School, Population Health Sciences. This position is within the linked data team (PEARL) at the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC)*. The team are responsible for enhancing the ALSPAC resource by 1) negotiating access to routine health (e.g. GP and hospital) records and social (e.g. school) records, and 2) extracting, processing and making these data available to researchers in a secure manner. The post holder will be required to support external researchers by compiling, documenting and linking datasets, advising them on ALSPAC linked data resource and providing ongoing support to researchers during their projects.

The successful applicant will be appointed on an open-ended contract, with funding confirmed until 30/06/2021. This is offered as a full-time position (35 hours per week), however, part-time hours will be considered.
