Full-Time, Permanent

The post holder will assist the Head of HR Operations in ensuring the provision of a high quality operational HR function delivering transactional HR to support the College. The post holder will manage the team of 13 staff providing support and advice as required on a wide range of issues while pushing the service forward by improving policies and processes and other means as applicable. In addition the successful applicant has responsibility for managing the College’s rewards and benefits processes for all staff including regrading and promotion including the College’s job evaluation scheme as applicable and for developing and implementing as applicable the College’s HR policies and related processes. They will also be expected to lead on other projects where relevant.

The successful candidate will work with a wide range of stakeholder throughout the College so the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relations is essential for this position.

The successful applicant will need to be CIPD qualified to level 7 with excellent people management, prioritisation and communication skills.  Significant experience of successfully managing a wide range of HR projects through to completion, extensive HR operational and strategic experience and experience of policy production and implementation and rewards and benefits is required for this position. A strong working knowledge of employment law and its application is essential together with strong IT skills.

Experience of working in the higher education sector would be desirable but is not essential for this role.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
