About the Job

The UniSA Cancer Research Institute is looking for a Research Assistant with a strong commitment to cancer research and drug discovery to contribute to research under the broad direction of the Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in order to achieve defined objectives and test stated hypotheses. You will support a project involving medicinal chemistry and drug discovery of kinase inhibitors for treating cancers.

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will hold an honours degree in chemistry, paired with a minimum two years of relevant work experience in CDK-targeted medicinal chemistry, ideally within the field of CDK-targeted drug discovery.

You will have excellent experimental skills and techniques in heterocyclic chemistry and structural characterisation and competent in recording, analysing and presenting research to stakeholders including the ability to produce high quality publications.
