Job Description
Part of the strategy of the College of Business and Economics is to render the program portfolio more attuned with professional and market needs. To that end, competences and talent development should become an integrative part of the learning activities. This requires a combination of academic and professional expertise, and dedicated management of these learning activities. The broader objective is to develop a dedicated team of professional experts, led by the Talent & Career Services Officer (TCS Officer). His/her initial tasks will be to develop a proper approach and to lead the recruitment of other team members. This will be done in close cooperation with the Associate Deans Programs and the Dean. The TCS Officer will report to the Associate Dean Pre-Experience Programs.
Minimum Qualification
- Professional experience in talent development and career services, preferably in the context of, or in relation with business schools.
- Profound understanding of all aspects of career counseling and talent development as part of business school programs.
- Experienced team leader and developer.
- Minimum master’s degree in a related discipline and/or relevant professional qualifications.
- Acquaintance with the HE environment and labor market in the UAE is a plus.

- Outgoing and able to develop professional relations with the business community.
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team member; Management skills
- Excellent project management skills; strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to plan, organize, implement and coordinate operational activities.
