Job description

We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our centralised recruitment team. We source and recruit the best talent in Academic, Research and Professional Services for roles all across the university.

The role

The Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for supporting the four Talent and Recruitment Consultants across the Schools and Services. This role will provide a wide range of proactive administrative support, advice, data input and MI reporting to a number of internal and external stakeholders and candidates.

Some of the key responsibilities you could expect are:

  • Monitoring and management of the recruitment mailbox
  • Reporting and Management Information for the team
  • Ensuring all systems and trackers are up to date and information entered is 100% accurately
  • Expenses processing
  • Coordinate diaries across the organisation, including booking interview rooms
  • Update and maintain intranet and external career sites
  • Supporting wider Recruitment Team projects

Who we are looking for

We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills and an ability to build strong rapport with others quickly whilst demonstrating our University values and behaviours.

This role will suit a team player, with strong planning, organising and analytical skills. Experience of using in-house HR systems or similar online computer based packages is essential.
