Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Management and Strategy in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 499438), to commence as soon as possible for three years with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Management, Organizational Psychology or a relevant field; or a DBA degree with solid statistical skills.  They should demonstrate excellent ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in oral presentations in Chinese and English.  Preference will be given to those with prior managerial experience or good understanding of corporate management.   Experience in the corporate world and the ability to relate to senior management would be highly desirable.

The appointee will work closely with the Principal Investigator and the Co-investigator to conduct research under their supervision in a predominantly independent manner, and pursue investigations on management problems related to leadership and enhancement of follower and corporate performance.  He/She will be responsible for field and experimental design development; overseeing the timeline of project research outcomes; developing case studies; development and validation of management assessment; training of research assistants; data collection, management, analysis and interpretation; and preparation for publications in peer-reviewed journals.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

The University only accepts online application for the above post.  Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V. Review of applications will start as soon as possible and continue until January 31, 2020, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
