This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic lecturer to develop their career in the University of Bristol Medical School - Population Health Sciences, which is one of the UK’s leading centres for research in epidemiology and public health. The post holder will be co-director of our new MSc programme in Epidemiology, develop their own research programme applying advanced epidemiological methods with colleagues in MRC IEU, NIHR BRC, School of Public Health Research and Health Protection Research Unit.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in a relevant topic.

Population Health Sciences has an outstanding track record in translational epidemiology, public health, evidence synthesis, evaluation and applied health research, and provides a stimulating environment for academics at all stages of their careers. There is a great deal of collective experience of securing grant funding, and a strong track record of promotion of researchers to senior academic posts.
