Brief Description

We seek to fill position of Research Associate in a funded project at Khalifa University. The project primarily deals with design and development of a practical crowd sourcing based solution for vehicleto-vehicle (V2V) power transfer. The job particularly deals with development of a crowd sourcing platform that allows the publishing of charging tasks and the recruitment of the best candidate to fulfill the request based on the characteristics of the charging task and the source context.

Detailed Description

Strategic Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to work on the following important aspect of the project Developing a detailed formalization of the V2V problem including the social network model and "
– incentive mechanisms ".

To accomplish this task the candidate is expected to -

1. Develop a social-based network model for improving the selection mechanism.
2. Model an incentive mechanism that can motivate both requesters and providers to cooperate in V2V charging.

The candidate will also be expected to publish in reputed journals and present in internationally
renowned conferences.

Operational Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to contribute, as needed, in the departmental and university work
and activities.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

The applicant should have strong Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) background and will be expected to have a masters degree in ECE with good academic record and research experience.

Required Experience

1. Computer programing and Simulations.
2. Modeling and developing algorithm.
3. Incentive Mechanisms.
