About the Job

Reporting to the Academic Developer and positioned in our Teaching Innovation Unit, the position provides a specialist service to academic staff in enhancing blended delivery and online learning. This involves providing expert advice, training and support to appropriately use educational technologies in programs and courses, assisting in the achievement of key learning and teaching outcomes in defence and space program development across the University and aligned to our 2015-2020 Digital Learning Strategy.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills in education and/or learning design. You will demonstrate experience in applying pedagogical theory into practice to analyse complex teaching and learning situations and develop appropriate online learning solutions. Highly developed skills in the use of learning management system tools for the development of educational course materials such as online quizzes, discussion groups, chats, podcasts, virtual classrooms, e-portfolios, blogs and web 2.0 tools will be important.
