About the role:

  • Develop teaching materials on global health and quantitative health research methods for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • Coordinate courses on global health and other health topics
  • Supervise students undertaking research in your areas of expertise and interest
  • Be part of a vibrant team committed to improving health and wellbeing outcomes in Aotearoa NZ
  • Undertake innovative and valuable health research
  • Engage with key stakeholders including government and district health boards

Skills and experience:

  • PhD desirable
  • Active researcher and enthusiastic teacher
  • Knowledge of how the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi can be effectively upheld in academic and health settings
  • Expertise in global and/or indigenous health, and health and sustainability desirable
  • Biostatistics expertise desirable
