A successful candidate will work within our new Discipline of Nursing team. Nursing is a new and exciting addition to the Department of Health Professions which sits within the School of Health Sciences. As a result, nursing is rapidly developing in the innovative and progressive environment of Swinburne University. We are looking at further enhancing the staffing with a lecturer who can bring and innovation and energy to our teaching and research activities.
This ongoing position provides a strong commitment to curriculum development, academic teaching, and research activity in nursing. The incumbent will convene and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units, develop and manage industry partnerships, conduct research and where relevant, supervise research students.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A post-doctorate qualification (PhD) in Nursing or related discipline
- NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Currency of professional clinical experience in a relevant, defined area
