Stanford Executive Education, in the Graduate School of Business, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Program Manager to support the Stanford Ignite programs. Stanford Ignite is Stanford GSB’s flagship program in innovation and entrepreneurship. This full-time certificate program teaches participants how to formulate, develop, and commercialize their ideas. This position will support all areas of the program in a variety of administrative and operational tasks, while also providing general support for the Ignite team.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.
  • The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for various administrative and logistical duties. Their main function will be to support the planning and execution of the Stanford Ignite – Part-Time and Stanford Ignite – Post-9/11 Veterans programs.
  • Collect and analyze data, create reports, review trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and recommendations to achieve the goals of the program.
  • Logistical responsibilities include collaborating with Program Leads and professors, arranging a variety of social functions, engaging with program participants, and managing online learning management systems.
  • Administrative responsibilities include organizing participant information, data entry, filing, printing and collating documents, assembling educational materials, arranging volunteer gifts, setting up classrooms, and running miscellaneous errands (on and off campus).
  • Represent the program as the key contact and a subject matter expert. May also represent the program to external/internal partners and constituencies.
  • The PM will work with the Stanford Ignite staff to help ensure that the stakeholders associated with the program (participants, faculty, vendors, donors, etc.) are satisfied with the program.
  • Organize and participate in activities that may include developing communications and trainings, planning and promoting events, and facilitating networking opportunities.
  • Be flexible to completing any other additional assigned duties.
  • May participate in the development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.
  • The PM will work to track expenses associated with the tasks they oversee for reporting and projection purposes.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drives, Hangouts, Drive, Docs, and Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
