An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Post Doctorate Research Assistant in Para-Disability Sport Coaching. The Sport Coaching team, based within the School of Sport and Exercise science, has successfully secured an Erasmus+ Funding grant to develop a “Para-Disability European Sport Coaching Framework and Massive Open Online Course. The project is in collaboration with the International Council for Coaching Excellence, European Paralympic Committee, Institute of Sport Poland, Hungarian Paralympic Committee and Netherland Olympic Committee and National Sport Federation.
You should have a higher degree in a related discipline (Sport Coaching (and/or) Disability sport related area), experience in delivering sport science and or coaching pedagogy related subjects; evidence of developing and disseminating sport coaching and or disability related research in peer review journals, academic conferences or industry related reports/policies, ability to conduct qualitative research, in addition to collate, critically appraise and present information from a range of sources using analytical data.
