Are you a well organised and adaptable individual, committed to delivering an excellent student experience? Do you want to help the Faculty to deliver and develop their exceptional Student Support Service?

Using your excellent knowledge and expertise of Student Education practices and processes, you will have the responsibility for coordinating the assessment activities for both undergraduate and taught postgraduate cohorts within the Faculty of Business to ensure an equitable experience for our students.

With experience of working in an administrative role and providing support for student education practices and processes, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and suggest improvements to the service provided.

With over 3000 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, the Assessment team manages the complex administration of a vast number of assignments and examinations. You will oversee the activities across the academic year and as such will underpin a seamless student journey for standard and non-standard students alike. You will also play a key part in the effective delivery of Examination Boards.

You will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. You will be able to multi-task and move between tasks within the School at short notice to meet deadlines. You will work collaboratively with team members within your School, with other Schools and Central Services to share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.

Two other grade five posts are also available in the School of Psychology: one is a permanent role with a focus on quality assurance and supporting a year group of students; the other is a one year fixed term post (to cover a member of staff on secondment) with a focus on assessment and supporting a year group of students.
