Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Law and Criminology. The post is fixed term maternity cover for up to 16 months depending on start date.

About the Department:

The Department of Law and Criminology is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences. It is a forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active department, where we offer undergraduate programmes in Law, Criminology & Psychology and Criminology & Sociology, together with Masters programmes in Forensic Psychology, Consumption, Culture & Marketing, Policing and Criminal Justice and Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism Studies. The Department is also home to an energetic postgraduate research student community.

We seek an outstanding teacher and researcher to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. Applicants should possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively and deliver core and optional teaching within our existing programmes.

About the role: We have one post on offer which is for the purposes of maternity cover and we have a particular interest in candidates who are committed to teaching core criminology subjects and are able to teach Drugs and crime and/or Youth and crime.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.

The Department has a strong research culture and good links with legal and Criminal Justice agencies and the NHS, as well as government and charitable organisations.
