Job description

The Senior Lecturer/Reader position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to advance their research and teaching activities in the area of Business Analytics. At the School a new, dynamic Business Analytics research group is being formed under the leadership of Professor Min Zhang. A strong collaborative ethos is being fostered amongst group members to develop joint research projects together and to strengthen international research networks between the group and others outside of the UK. A new MSc Business Analytics programme that has been established will provide opportunities for dedicated teaching in the sub-discipline. Opportunities also exist to deliver Executive Education programmes in Business Analytics.  

The successful candidate must have: 

  • PhD completed in Management or related field
  • Extensive record of research publications in internationally-ranked refereed journals, preferably in Business Analytics
  • Potential to generate external research income
  • Teaching and assessment experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
