About the Job

As the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Forensic Mental Health Nursing, you will play a key role in driving research activity and output in our leading Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. You will teach into postgraduate Forensic Behavioural Science units and provide supervisory support to PhD students.

Your role will be integral to supporting initiatives and research projects within the Centre. You will identify and pursue joint research opportunities and publish research findings in international refereed journals, working collaboratively to elevate the Centre’s profile within the area of Forensic Mental Health Nursing.

This is an ongoing position offering part-time hours at a fraction of 0.6.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in nursing and AHPRA registration as a nurse
  • Completion of Postdoctoral (PhD) qualification
  • Qualification and research experience in forensic mental health
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
