Applications are invited for the role of Retention and Success Officer in the Faculty of Engineering and Science, based in Chatham Maritime, Kent. The role holder will liaise with academic and professional staff and central services to promote student retention and success within the Faculty and manage associated processes. They will also contribute to initiatives that aim to support progression and preventative methods for students at risk of disengagement.
Applicants will be educated to Degree or professional qualification and/or hold extensive relevant administrative experience. The successful applicant must also have a good knowledge of HE sector retention and success challenges, as well as understanding the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding. A high level of MS Office, an analytical and systematic approach to work and excellent interpersonal skills are also required. The role holder will be expected to travel to other campuses and be flexible in their working arrangements when necessary.
Training will be provided where necessary.
This is a full-time, permanent post.
