We are seeking a highly motivated individual committed to further develop their skills in teaching in orthodontics and overall leadership. You will have overall academic management responsibility for orthodontics in the undergraduate Dental Surgery programme during a period of maternity leave. 

You will have a commitment to teaching that is forwards looking and reflects the needs of current students. You will have a commitment to you own development as well as the development of others within a team approach to deliver an exceptional student experience. 

You will have a BChD or BDS degree (or equivalent), full registration with the UK General Dental Council, be on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics. Furthermore, you will have successfully completed an SAC-approved Fixed Term Training Appointment (FTTA) in Orthodontics (or equivalent) and able to demonstrate currency of clinical practise to this level (e.g. holding a consultant appointment elsewhere).
