The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences seeks to strategically develop its world-leading profile of research and teaching excellence by the appointment of leading academics across the core disciplines of Sport and Exercise Sciences. You will be expected to contribute to the research and teaching work of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences within the discipline of Sport Psychology.

The post requires you to extend and enhance the Sport Psychology research activity within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences. In this regard, there is emphasis on the development and leadership of an internationally excellent research agenda in Sport Psychology that will generate significant levels of external research income, impact and high-quality publications. The post will also provide mentorship to facilitate the activity of other researchers and doctoral students within the Psychology and Development Research group and the wider School to enhance our strong research culture.

The post also requires you to contribute to the delivery of research-informed teaching and supervision of Sport Psychology across the School’s well-established and highly successful curricula, which affords students the opportunity to complete their Sport Psychology education and training via its B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. and Professional Doctorate provision.
