Research Associate in Engineering
The post is funded by Huawei for a period of 12 months, with the last 6 months subject to the attainment of milestones in the first six months. The post-holder will work, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (Professor Osvaldo Simeone) on machine learning for communications, with a focus on massive MIMO.
The post will be based in the Centre for Telecommunications research, Department of Engineering at the Strand campus of King's, located in the centre of London.
The successful candidate should have a PhD in Electrical Engineering with expertise in communication systems and machine learning. She/he should also meet the following criteria:
- Track record of high quality research publications in peer reviewed conferences and journals.
- Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
- Experience of presenting research to both academic and industrial audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on research programmes.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 Months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
