The International Centre for TransformationalEntrepreneurship (ICTE) is looking to recruit an Associate Professor to supportits strategy for growth, with a particular focus on leadership in educationdevelopment and delivery.
ICTE is part of the Faculty of Business and Law and ourresearch supports economic development and policy impact through projectengagement and consultancy. Education is at the heart of economictransformation and entrepreneurial education supports socio-economic growth, enhancessocial capital and reduces inequality. ICTE has set out its philosophy in aposition paper, which can be accessed here. A successful applicant would beable to align their research and teaching interest with the ethos and researchsubjects outlined in the position paper.
This role is critical to the enhancement of our currentprogrammes and to the further development of our academic offer both nationallyand internationally. The Associate Professor is expected to be innovative inleading learning and teaching but will also be active in research and/orenterprise. The role holder will have a significant national / internationalreputation in field of enterprise and entrepreneurship education, leadershipand / or innovation. They will have management / leadership experienceand will be expected to support the Director of Education and contribute to theformation and implementation of the strategic priorities of ICTE. She/he willwork across disciplinary and structural boundaries in the University where itis appropriate to do so.
