Applications are invited for the position of Business Development Officer within an ERDF funded project, Digital Integrated Manufacturing Execution (DigitME2). As part of a team delivering Industry 4.0 related support to Lancashire manufacturing SMEs, your role will focus on identifying and recruiting beneficiary clients and liaison with existing clients.
Working closely with DigitME2 engineers and manufacturing SMEs, the role will enhance your experience within business development whilst offering an opportunity to become involved in the application of Industry 4.0 within a wide range of manufacturing SMEs.
Ideally educated to degree level, the successful applicant will have experience of working closely with manufacturing SMEs. With an ability to plan and implement strategies for client recruitment the applicant will play a key role in the continuing success of the DigitME2 project.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with people at all levels are core requirements for this position. The successful applicants will also possess good communication and presentation skills and have an ability to work effectively in a team.
